Suzanne Muir is a Canadian Muslim mother, educator, children’s author and consultant who lives in Burlington with her kids Zayd, Haytham and Ruqaya, 2 cats Minx and Pepper and a puppy named Ziggy. She became Muslim in University and enjoys learning about people and the world through their own lense. She writes and creates her own picture books and ebook apps for kids. She enjoys travelling, singing in community choir, swimming and reading.


Suzanne created an online resource called to create supportive conversations about sexuality and gender across language, faith and culture.
