Richard Chambers is the Director of the University of Toronto Multi-Faith Centre for Spiritual Study and Practice. The mission of the Centre is to support the spiritual well-being of students, staff, and faculty, accomodating 50 faith communities on campus, and engaging members of the University in interfaith dialogue. Prior to coming to the University he served as the Associate Executive Minister with the Justice, Global, and Ecumenical Relations Unit of The United Church of Canada. Richard has graduate degrees in applied ethics, education, and theology from Harvard University, and the University of Toronto. Research interests include moral and spiritual development with young adults, and the role of religion in the public sphere.
