David Lewis-Peart is an educator, community worker, and writer based in Toronto Canada. He is an alumnus of George Brown College and York University. He has worked in community development and social services for over a decade. David is an ordained New Thought – Metaphysical minister and Ordained Ministerial Counsellor. He is co-founder of the interspiritual-arts community Sunset Service Toronto Fellowship. The interfaith bridge building ministry began in 2012 and its recognition’s include:


  • Ontario Trillium Foundation grant recipient
  • the University of Toronto Multi-Faith Centre’s Religious Diversity Youth Leadership award
  • Canadian Race Relations Foundation – Honourable Mention for diversity and inclusion
  • NOW Magazine’s Readers Choice Award for Best Spiritual Activist Group – Runner-up


David is an OCAD University TEDx speaker and has contributed to such publications as CBC Arts, and Huffington Post Canada. David currently works as a college lecturer in Toronto. He is the acting Co-Chair for the Parliament of the World’s Religion – Emerging Leaders Task Force.
